Species: Lógios
All Basic Information was also made by Moosifer00 @ gaiaonline
Lógios come from a totally different dimension. They come from a world roughly the size of Pluto that is just one gigantic library, both on the surface and into the core of the world. The inhabitants are sent out, once mature, to different worlds all over the universe to study, and collect information from each. They remain there for thousands of years, blending in with the dominant species and learning about everything they can get their hands on until their time is up to return home. When their time on a world is up, they are sent home to document all they have learned. Their minds are wiped blank and they are sent out again.
They are gentle and curious creatures with one goal in mind and an endless amount of memory. Most are around 7 feet tall and their bodies are extremely dense and heavy. Their black skin is rubbery and thick and difficult to damage. If the outer skin is punctured, they do not bleed, but a white glow will emit from the wound, as from their eyes or various markings. If necessary, they can compress their body and shape to be able to hide and avoid hostility. They are very docile and will chose to flee over fighting. Even so, they are equipped with claws and spikes to be able to combat those who wish them harm.
They are pronounced as "Lo-Ghee-Oh-s," Lógios is the greek word for scholar and their names are all their colors in greek too. They communicate telepathically. It's not common for them to meet or make real connections with each other because they have that one goal in mind at all times. But when they do, they can just touch and send information between them. Most other species, if they tried to communicate with them that way, could get an overload of information... and that's deadly. So they typically communicate with sounds and hand gestures. Some, if they have studied a species for long enough can form a mouth (which would just look like a glowing slit in the face) and they can imitate speech. Their wounds glow white even though their eyes glow a different color, their wounds glowing the same the color as their eyes. The color of their hair is the color of the core and it lets off a white light.

They don't necessarily sleep, but when they're not moving or taking on any new information, they're sort of on standby, so their brains get rest.
They do eat, and being curious creatures, they will attempt to eat just about everything before they know which are organic materials that work for them or not. What they keep may depend on their personality or what they grow attached to. Some may find worth in material things, others might not. Some might be prone to making friends only to find that organic beings are short-lived. Just things they might find comforting to have around. By the end of their journey, though, it is not likely that they would take anything back to their home world. Souvenirs is not in their programming.
They're on a planet for a couple thousand years, so the idea is to travel around the world and gather as much information as possible. They may find a home base from time to time and can become attached to people and places that they might stay for a decade or even a century or so. Some might come back to visit some other time, but for the most part, they're nomadic. Lógios that collect information, such as Galazio, do not have a reproductive system. They're agender. Although, on the home world there are a few broodmothers and they reproduce like angler fish.
